Abstract
ABSTRACK
This study aims to determine the relationship between self-regulation ability and academic procrastination among students at Darul ’Ulum University Jombang. The research subjects were selected based on predetermined criteria and then randomly chosen. The total number of respondents in this study was 61. Data collection was carried out online using Google Forms, and the sampling technique applied was purposive sampling. Based on the results of the Spearman’s rho correlation test, the correlation coefficient was obtained at rho xy = -0.511 with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). This indicates that there is a significant negative relationship between self-regulation ability and academic procrastination among students at Darul ’Ulum University Jombang. In other words, the higher the students’ self-regulation ability, the lower their level of academic procrastination. This study shows that the research hypothesis is accepted.
