Abstract

This study is motivated by the phenomenon of working women who struggle to
balance their roles in the workplace and family domains, leading to work-family
conflict. The conflict that occurs can be related to individual life satisfaction. The
purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between work-family
conflict and life satisfaction among female workers. This study uses a quantitative
approach and purposive sampling technique to collect data from 73 working
women. Data collection was conducted using work-family conflict and life
satisfaction scales. The data were analyzed using the product moment correlation
test, which yielded a correlation coefficient of -0.568 (r = -0.568) with a
significance value of 0.001 (<0.05). The results of this data processing show that
there is a significant negative relationship. This can be interpreted that the higher
the dual role conflict experienced by female workers, the lower the life
satisfaction of female workers. Vice versa, when the dual role conflict of female
workers is low, the life satisfaction of female workers will be high
