Abstract

The role of human resources in government organisations is very important in supporting the successful implementation of the tasks and functions of the institution. This study aims to analyse the effect of workload, work discipline, and
compensation on employee performance within the Office of Population Control, Family Planning, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of Jombang Regency. The method used in this research is quantitative with a survey approach. A total of 37 employees served as respondents in this study. Data were collected through questionnaires and analysed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that the workload variable had no significant effect on employee performance, while the work discipline and compensation variables had a
significant effect on employee performance. These findings suggest that improving work discipline and providing appropriate compensation can encourage better employee performance. From the results of this study, government agencies are expected to increase attention to employee discipline and compensation systems to support optimal organisational performance.
