The aim of this research is to test the significance of the relationship between the intensity of use of WhatsApp social media and the level of stress among students in Jombang Regency. The population is college students and resides in Jombang district. The target sample for this research was 50 students studying at universities and residing in Jombang Regency. The sampling or sampling technique used was Purposive Random Sampling. The data collection method uses the WhatsApp Social Media Intensity scale with the Stress Level Scale. Test the hypothesis using Product Moment Pearson Correlation. The results of the Product Moment analysis between the WhatsApp Social Media Intensity variable and the Stress Level obtained r xy = -0.091 and sig 0.532 (p > 0.05). This means that there is no relationship between the intensity of use of WhatsApp social media and stress levels. So the hypothesis in this research is rejected.
