Abstract

TRAFFIC PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF EMPUNALA ROAD SECTION, MOJOKERTO CITY

ABSTRACTS

Empunala road is one of the roads in the Mojokerto city area where the growth rate is quite rapid. In this area there are education centers, offices, shops. After construction, the Empunala road section in the city of Mojokerto experienced a change in road type, in the condition before it was built it had a 2/2TT mesh type, whereas after it was built the current condition is a 4/2T road type. The data taken to conduct this research is primary data: road geometric data, traffic volume, side obstacles. Meanwhile, secondary data is: data on the population and GRDP of the city of Mojokerto. The method used refers to the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI 2014). The results of data analysis obtained from this research are that traffic volume for segment 1 is 532.1 cur/hour and 632.0 cur/hour, Segment 2 is 565.4 cur/hour and 638.6 cur/hour. Side barriers were 521.2 and 632.0 events per hour. The degree of saturation for segment 1 is 0.21 and 0.25, segment 2 is 0.22 and 0.24. Meanwhile, for the performance analysis for the next 5 years using a growth rate of 4.60%, it was found that side obstacles were 652.62 incidents per hour, segment 1 traffic volume was 666.27 cur/hour and 791.36 cur/hour, segment 2 was 707 .97 cur/hour and 799.63 cur/hour. The value of the degree of saturation for segment 1 is 0.27 and 0.32, segment 2 is 0.28 and 0.31.
