KEEFEKTIFAN KONSELING CATUR MURTI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEPERCAYAAN DIRI SISWA

Self-confidence is a condition of a person who knows his own weaknesses and strengths but also knows about developing himself and exploring potential. Catur murti counseling is a culture-based counseling by constructing the teachings of Adiluhung Raden Mas Panji Sosrokartono into an approach from eastern philosophy which is from the teachings of Adiluhung Raden Mas Panji Sosrokartono, namely the reasoning of thoughts, feelings, words and deeds. The research design used in this study is a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design, which is then analyzed using the normality test and the Wilcoxon test. The research subjects were 5 students in class X of the Mojoagung State Vocational School RPL into one group. The instruments used in this study were confidence instruments, the confidence instruments submitted by the researcher were 47 questions which were tested for validity to 83 respondents. From the calculation of validity, there are 40 valid question items. In the output test statistics, the value of the Z test was -2.023 and the value of Asymp. Sig. (2-tailid) was 0.043. Because of the value of Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) is greater than the real level (/2=0.05), so it can be concluded that there is significant difference in score in the posttest. From the results of the analysis using Wilcoxon Rank, it can be concluded that there was a significant increase in student confidence scores at the end (posttest) compared to at the beginning of the intervention (pretest). Thus H1 was accepted and Ho was rejected with the classification of Catur Murti counseling effective in increasing student confidence.
