Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between loneliness and internet addiction in students living away from home. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Correlational method. The research subjects were 78 students living away from home, using the product moment technique. Data analysis in this study used a correlation test. The results showed a correlation coefficient value of (r) = 0.439 and a significant value of 0.000 (p <0.05). This indicates that there is a significant positive relationship between loneliness and internet addiction, where the higher the level of loneliness of the respondent, the higher the level of internet addiction experienced by the respondent and vice versa, the lower the loneliness, the lower the internet addiction in the respondent. Therefore, the research hypothesis is accepted.Keyword : Loneliness, Kecanduan Internet, Mahasiswa Rantauan.
