Abstract
The construction of the Government Asset Warehouse in Batu City is an essential part of regional development. To ensure the project runs according to plan in terms of cost and time, an effective control method is needed. One such method is the Earned Value concept, which compares the planned value with the actual results of work completed in a project.
This study aims to determine the values of Cost Variance (CV), Schedule Variance (SV), Cost Performance Index (CPI), and Schedule Performance Index (SPI), as well as to evaluate the project’s cost and schedule to identify potential profits. The method used involves secondary data analysis obtained from the project implementers, with calculations of BCWP, BCWS, and ACWP.
The EVM method is effective in evaluating the performance of the Government Asset Warehouse project. The Earned Value analysis in the 15th week shows an ACWP of Rp 2,658,210,000.00, while the BCWP and BCWS were each Rp 3,119,739,020.00, resulting in an under budget of Rp 461,529,020.00. The final SV value was 0, with average SPI and CPI greater than 1. This indicates that the project was completed on time and below the planned budget.
