Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between the phenomenon of outfit of the day and self-confidence among generation Z. The research subjects were members of generation Z aged 18–25 years who are active social media users. The total number of respondents in this study was 104, obtained online using Google Forms. The research method employed was a quantitative approach. The instruments used in this study were the outfit of the day scale and the self-confidence scale. Data analysis was carried out using the Pearson correlation test. The results showed a correlation coefficient of r = 0.508 with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). These findings indicate a significant positive correlation between the outfit of the day phenomenon and self-confidence among generation Z. Thus, the higher the outfit of the day engagement, the higher the self-confidence of Generation Z. The R² value obtained was 0.2580, indicating that 25.80% of the variability in outfit of the day contributes to self-confidence.
