PARTICIPATION IN THE IPNU IPPNU ORGANIZATION TO IMPROVE THE RELIGIOUS ABILITY OF STUDENTS OF MADRASAH ALIYAH BABUSSALAM MOJOAGUNG JOMBANG

Religious young generation is the implementation of activities that can support the formation of religious character in the school environment, for example through the IPNU IPPNU organization. IPNU IPPNU at the MA Babussalam commissariat level with activities that support character formation. IPNU IPPNU Commissariat MA Babussalam also helps manage these habituation activities carried out by IPNU and IPPNU administrators. This study aims to determine how the process of forming religious character for students through the IPNU-IPPNU organization and what are the benefits of IPNU-IPPNU activities for students. The type of research used in this study is field research using a qualitative approach with a case study type. The subjects in this study were the principal, IPNU-IPPNU mentor teachers, IPNU chairman, IPPNU chairman, and IPNU-IPPNU MA Babussalam members. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews. After the data is collected and analyzed using data techniques and drawing conclusions. This study successfully obtained findings, namely the formation of religious character of students through the IPNU-IPPNU MA Babussalam organization is considered to be optimal. The process of forming religious character is carried out through collaboration between the IPNU-IPPNU organization and through the work programs that are created. Other programs/efforts carried out by schools in instilling religious character education in students are learning prayers at the beginning and end of learning, pilgrimage, istighosah, tahlil, khatmil Al Qu'an and so on. The stages of forming religious character for students through the IPNU-IPPNU MA Babussalam organization begin with providing knowledge, then habituation is carried out.
