IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN PEMERINTAH DALAM PENERTIBAN BALAP LIAR DI KECAMATAN SUMOBITO KABUPATEN JOMBANG

The phenomenon of wild racing is often heard in the social reality of society, including the phenomenon of wild racing involving teenagers as perpetrators, this study was conducted to describe the government as an intermediary to overcome this phenomenon This research design is descriptive qualitative research. This research was chosen because it presents data systematically, factually and accurately about the facts in the field. This research uses descriptive qualitative research design aims to explore the facts about government policies in controlling illegal racing. This research was conducted at the Sumobito District Government Office, Jombang Regency. The government has an important policy in overcoming a problem about wild racing cases in Sumobito sub-district. It aims to prepare a good and qualified generation, work well together and be consistent in doing positive activities. Important policies carried out by the government in overcoming illegal racing in Sumobito by providing an understanding of the dangers of illegal racing to young people to achieve government policy. The obligation as a society is to provide information to the authorities when there is illegal racing in an area. the implementation of government policies in overcoming illegal racing must combine strict law enforcement with the provision of safe alternatives, such as official racing facilities. In addition, public education about the dangers of illegal racing and co-operation with local communities are essential to create effective and sustainable solutions. Periodic evaluation and adjustment of the policy is also necessary to ensure its success.
