Abstract

A construction project is one of the jobs whose work results are influenced by the productivity of its workforce. However, in reality, in some construction projects, the productivity of work realization in the field is different from the productivity that has been set by the Indonesian National Standard. The Time study method is an example of a method of measuring labor productivity. Permen PUPR8-2023 is a reference standard formulated by the government as the main guideline in calculating the value of labor productivity. This research was carried out in three locations of the Irrigation Canal Development project. In the project, a working group observation was carried out with manual work and using a molen on a pair of stones. So that the labor productivity coefficient is obtained and compared with the coefficient in the PUPR Ministerial Regulation 8-2023. From this study, the labor productivity coefficient in the irrigation canal improvement project using the manual method was obtained in three locations, namely at location 1 (foreman 0.24, handyman 0.91 OH, worker 2.63 OH), at location 2 (foreman 0.20 OH, handyman 0.80 OH, worker 2.21), at location 3 (foreman 0.22 OH, handyman 0.87 OH, worker 2.39 OH), in the Minister of Public Works and Public Works Regulation 8-2023 (foreman 0.15 OH, handyman 0.50 OH, worker 1.50). And the irrigation canal improvement project uses a molen where at location 1 (foreman 0.33 OH, handyman 1.33 OH, worker 3.67 OH), at location 2 (foreman 0.34 OH, handyman 1.35 OH, worker 3.70 OH), at location 3 (foreman 0.33 OH, handyman 1.33 OH, worker 23.67 OH), at Permen PUPR 8-2023 (foreman 0.10 OH, handyman 0.50 OH, worker 1.00). From the results of this study, it was found that the productivity of craftsmen and workers in the field was smaller than the reference. Meanwhile, the productivity of foremen in the field is smaller than the reference.
