THE EFFECT OF ADDITION TO TADARUS OF THE QUR'AN EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE OF STUDENTS IN ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOLS TAHFIDZUL QUR'AN DARUL HIKAM MANCAR PETERONGAN JOMBANG IN 2024

This research aims to find out how the influence of habituation to the tadarus al-Qur'an has on the emotional intelligence of students at the Tahfizul Qur'an Darul Hikam Mancar Peterongan Jombang Islamic boarding school.
This research is quantitative in nature, data collection was carried out by means of interviews, distribution of questionnaires, observation and documentation, while data analysis was carried out using a simple linear regression statistical formula and a significance test to determine whether there was an influence between the influence of familiarization with the Al-Qur'an on emotional intelligence. at the Darul Hikam Mancar Peterongan Jombang Tahfizul Qur'an Islamic boarding school.
The results of the research show that the practice of Tadarus Al-Qur'an at the Tahfizul Qur'an Darul Hikam Mancar Peterongan Jombang Islamic Boarding School is classified as good in terms of its implementation and implementation among individual students. The results of the questionnaire showed that familiarization with Tadarus Al-Qur'an was 54.5%. Meanwhile, the Emotional Intelligence of the students at the Tahfizul Qur'an Darul Hikam Islamic Boarding School is quite good. This can be seen from the questionnaire regarding the Emotional Intelligence of students at the Tahfizul Qur'an Darul Hikam Islamic Boarding School, which was 45.5%.
Other results show that there is a significant relationship between familiarization with Tadarus Al-Qur'an and the emotional intelligence of students. And the correlation between the Tadarus Al-Qur'an habituation variable and the emotional intelligence of the students at the Tahfizul Qur'an Darul Hikam Islamic Boarding School was 21% and the remainder was influenced by other factors, such as the students' background, family, community environment, and so on.
