Abstract

Abstract— The existing condition of the reservoir from the source in Padusan village is still sufficient for clean water needs in the service area in the future, but the service coverage is still around 30% of the population in each hamlet served, even though the existing reservoir capacity is still able to serve a larger population. With the above conditions, Pamsimas Padusan village hopes that there will be efforts to optimize and develop the distribution of clean water from the existing reservoir so that the number of residents served is greater and more evenly distributed. The data collection process was carried out using the field survey method and interviews with related institutions and villagers, to obtain primary and secondary data, where primary data includes reservoir discharge capacity, existing conditions and documentation, for secondary data includes the number of residents and public facilities. After the data is obtained, an analysis method is carried out to find the optimal water discharge requirement. From the existing conditions, the reservoir cannot serve all hamlets in Padusan. In order to meet the remaining 38 families, a new reservoir needs to be made with dimensions of Length = 2 m, Width = 1 m and Height = 1 m (2 m x 1 m x 1m = 2 m3).
