ANALISIS TENTANG PARIWISATA PETIRTAAN SUMBERBEJI PADA PEREKONOMIAN MASYARAKAT LOKAL DI DESA KESAMBEN KECAMATAN NGORO KABUPATEN JOMBANG

Tourism is an activity that has an important role in the economy, not least in Ngoro District
which has several tourist attractions that have the potential to improve the economy of the
surrounding community through the tourism sector such as Petirtaan Sumberbeji. This
research was conducted to determine the impact of the Sumberbeji Petirtaan tourism on the
community's economy. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data analysis
techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of
the research show that Petirtaan Sumberbeji contributes to the economy of the local
community. It is recommended to the community and government to optimize the promotion of
the Petirtaan Sumberbeji tourist attraction so that it continues to develop.
This research uses a qualitative approach, the type of research is field research, data
obtained through interviews, apart from that it also uses data collection methods through
observation and documentation. The analysis method in this research is descriptive qualitative,
namely by analyzing the impact of tourism development on the welfare of the community
around Petirtaan Sumberbeji, Ngoro District, Jombang Regency.
The results of this research are, with the development of Petirtaan Sumberbeji, the
community has business opportunities and employment opportunities which result in an
increase in the amount of income earned by the community, so that the community is able to
fulfill their daily needs adequately. The main thing is that housewives can now earn income.
And those who were originally factory workers can now also work in the Sumberbeji tourism
area. As for the level of education, business actors can send their children to a higher level of
education, even up to university level. And for the health conditions of the community after the
development of the Sumberbeji area, their health conditions have become better, which is
caused by not being tied to working hours, and without the pressure that other parties
experience when doing business.
