POTRET PENDIDIKAN BERBASIS TAREKAT DI PONDOK PESANTREN ASSALAFI AL FITHRAH SURABAYA

ABSTRACT
This research aims to provide an overview of the portrait of congregation-based education at the Assalafi Al Fithrah Islamic Boarding School in Surabaya, including the main characteristics of education, the educational approach used, and its benefits. Because nowadays students are experiencing a battle for branded outfits, cool and expensive fashion, so they forget the existing character and traditions, especially Al Fithrah Islamic boarding school students. Therefore, the author wants to research more deeply about the portrait of tarekat-based education at the Assalafi Al Fitrah Islamic boarding school in Surabaya?
To obtain these answers, the researcher used a type of qualitative research with a library research approach (Library Research), with a descriptive analytical method, namely data analysis carried out on all data obtained from books, observations, interviews and documentation to develop and discover theories without having to use statistical formulation.
The results of the research show that the essence of the portrait of tarekat-based education at the Assalafi Al Fithrah Islamic Boarding School in Surabaya is moral education (character) through the refinement of adab. The goal of national education to be achieved is to develop the full potential of Indonesian citizens to become perfect human beings (al-Insan al-kamil) both in terms of the material z{a>h{iriyyah and the physical side ba>t{iniyyah. Meanwhile, the relevance of KH. Achmad Asrori goal of national education is to help shape Indonesian citizens into complete people through improving their mental and spiritual aspects. Because the goal of tarekat people is not to run away from the challenges of the times but to be ready to face the challenges of the times.
