APLIKASI PENCARIAN TOKO OLEH-OLEH DAN DESTINASI KULINER DENGAN METODE HAVERSINE BERBASIS ANDROID DI KABUPATEN JOMBANG

This study aims to develop an Android application for searching souvenir shops and culinary destinations in Jombang Regency using the Haversine method. The application is equipped with text and voice-based search features, the Levenshtein Distance algorithm to handle misspellings, and a favorite location storage feature to enhance user convenience. The implemented Haversine method is capable of calculating the geographical distance between the user's location and the destination, allowing the application to display the nearest locations accurately and consistently. Test results show that the developed application meets functional requirements and is well-received by users. This application is expected to serve as a practical tool for both tourists and local residents in finding souvenirs and culinary options quickly and accurately.
