Abstract

The increasingly rapid development of information technology in various fields, especially in the field of civil engineering, provides many benefits in construction work that has a complex level of difficulty. In the process of work. This study aims to model the Cultural & Language Center CWI-01 ITS building with BIM software in 3D and Quantity take-off.

This study will discuss the implementation of the 5D BIM concept in supporting QTO (Quantity Take Off) in the CWI-01 ITS project, Surabaya, East Java. This study uses Tekla Structure by Trimble software for quantity take off in structural work, then compares it with manual calculation volumes. Tekla Structure software can produce output in the form of volumes that are more accurate and efficient compared to manual calculation volumes that take longer to calculate according to the working drawings in the field or often also called shop drawings.
