HUBUNGAN ANTARA KONTROL DIRI DENGAN PROKRASTINASI AKADEMIK PADA MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS DARUL 'ULUM JOMBANG

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan antara Kontrol Diri dan Prokrastinasi Akademik pada Mahasiswa Universitas Darul ‘Ulum Jombang. Hipotesis pada penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan negatif antara Kontrol Diri dengan Prokrastinasi Akademik pada Mahasiswa Universitas Darul ‘Ulum Jombang. Subyek penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa aktif Universitas Darul ‘Ulum Jombang semester 1 – semester 8. Jumlah responden pada penelitian ini adalah 103 responden. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan secara online menggunakan Google Form. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan dari hasil analisis uji korelasi Pearson, maka diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi rxy = -0,840 dengan nilai sig. < 0,000 (sig. < 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antata Kontrol Diri dan Prokrastinasi Akademik pada Mahasiswa Universitas Darul ‘Ulum Jombang. Artinya, semakin tinggi kontrol diri maka semakin rendah prokrastinasi akademik, dan sebaliknya semakin rendah kontrol diri maka semakin tinggi terjadinya prokrastinasi akademik. Jadi hipotesis yang diajukan diterima.

Abstract: This study aims to determine the relationship between Self-Control and Academic Procrastination in Students of Darul 'Ulum University Jombang. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a negative relationship between Self-Control and Academic Procrastination in Students at Darul 'Ulum University, Jombang.The subject of this research is an active student of Darul 'Ulum University Jombang semester 1 – semester 8. The number of respondents in this study was 103 respondents. The data collection technique is carried out online using Google Form. The data collection technique uses the purposive sampling technique. Based on the results of the Pearson correlation test analysis, the value of the correlation coefficient rxy = -0.840 with a value of sig. < 0.000 (sig. < 0.05) was obtained. This shows that there is a significant negative relationship between Self-Control and Academic Procrastination in students of Universitas Darul 'Ulum Jombang. This means that the higher the self-control, the lower the academic procrastination, and conversely, the lower the self-control, the higher the academic procrastination. So the proposed hypothesis is accepted.
