This study aims to determine the influence of parents in shaping the religious character of students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Baitul Huda Pucangro, Gudo District, Jombang Regency. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires distributed to 40 student respondents from grades 4–6. Data analysis was carried out using statistical correlation tests to determine the extent of parental influence on the formation of students’ religious character.
The results of the study indicate that parents have a significant influence on the formation of students’ religious character, with a correlation coefficient value of 0.6008. This result shows a strong relationship between parental involvement—whether in the form of role modeling, supervision, or motivation—and the strengthening of religious values in students. Students who receive attention and guidance from their parents demonstrate better understanding, attitudes, and religious behavior compared to those who receive less support.
