Analysis of the Drinking Water Distribution System at PDAM Jombang, Ploso Service Area

This study aims to analyze the drinking water distribution system of PDAM Jombang, specifically in the Ploso service area, in order to evaluate its performance and identify field-related challenges. The Ploso area still experiences issues such as inconsistent water pressure and limited service during peak hours. The research methods include field surveys, collection of primary and secondary data, and hydraulic analysis using supporting software. Key parameters analyzed include the production capacity of the Water Treatment Plant (WTP), pipeline pressure, head loss, and the physical condition of the pipes and connections.
The findings indicate several problems, including pipe leakage, inadequate maintenance, and uneven water pressure in several distribution points. As a recommendation, this study suggests optimizing pressure management, renewing aging pipelines, and increasing routine monitoring of the distribution system to improve efficiency and the quality of clean water services to consumers.
