HUBUNGAN ANTARA POLA ASUH OTORITER ORANG TUA DENGAN PERILAKU TOXIC ONLINE DISINHIBITION EFFECT PADA REMAJA

This study aims to determine the relationship between authoritarian parenting styles and toxic online disinhibition effects in adolescents. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a relationship between authoritarian parenting styles and toxic online disinhibition effects. This study involved 57 respondents. Data collection techniques used purposive random sampling conducted online via Google Forms. Based on the results of the Pearson Product Moment correlation test, a correlation coefficient (rxy) of 0.760 was obtained with a significance value of 0.000 (p<0.05). This indicates that there is a significant positive correlation between authoritarian parenting and toxic online disinhibition effect behavior, meaning that the higher the authoritarian parenting, the higher the toxic online disinhibition effect behavior in adolescents. Conversely, the lower the authoritarian parenting, the lower the toxic online disinhibition effect behavior in adolescents. Therefore, the hypothesis is accepted.
