Abstract
Construction management plays a crucial role in ensuring the project runs according to schedule, cost, and quality. This study aims to apply the Critical Path Method (CPM) and Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) in scheduling and controlling the construction project of the Sumberjo Public Health Center Building in Purwoasri District, Kediri Regency. The CPM method is used to deterministically determine the critical path and shortest project duration, while the PERT method is used to estimate project time based on three probabilistic parameters: optimistic, most likely, and Pessimistic. Analysis was conducted on all project activities using RAB data, time schedule, and activity dependency sequences. The results showed that: With the CPM method, the project duration can be accelerated from 120 days to 105 days with an additional cost of Rp116,878,125. With the PERT method, the project can be completed in 106 days (14 days faster) with an additional cost of Rp118,859,488. The application of these two methods has proven effective in optimizing project time and costs. CPM is more efficient in terms of time, while PERT is more realistic in dealing with uncertainty in project activity duration.
