Abstract

The use of concrete is a common thing in Indonesia. such as national roads,
provincial roads, district roads, and village roads usually use concrete as rigid
pavement because of its high durability, high elasticity, cheap maintenance and
easily available materials. This study aims to determine the extent to which the
quality of the Gresik cement brand and Padang cement on the compressive strength
and flexural strength of concrete. In addition, it also aims to determine how much
difference in strength of each cement brand produces a correlation value of concrete
flexural strength to concrete compressive strength according to the flexural strength
and compressive strength planned or required. The method implemented in this
study is an experimental method with SNI and ASTM standard guidelines.
