Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of investment and household consumption on economic growth in Jombang Regency during the 2015–2024 period. The research employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. The data used are secondary data consisting of investment value, household consumption, and economic growth, obtained from publications by Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS). The results indicate that simultaneously, investment
and household consumption significantly influence economic growth, as evidenced by an F-value of 58.529 and a significance level of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.944, indicating that 94.4% of the variation in economic growth can be explained by the independent variables in the model. Partially, household consumption has a positive and statistically significant effect on economic growth, with a coefficient of 1.079 and a significance level of 0.000. In contrast, investment does not have a significant effect, with a coefficient of –0.004
and a significance level of 0.225. These findings suggest that the economic growth of Jombang Regency is more strongly driven by household consumption than by investment during the study period.
