Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the Special Allocation Fund (DAK) in the health sector on economic growth in Jombang Regency during the period of 2019-2024.The
health sector DAK is part of the national budget (APBN) allocated to regions to support both physical and non-physical health development, such as the construction of health facilities, procurement of medical equipment, health personnel training, and public health promotion programs. Quality health services are believed to enhance community productivity, which in turn contributes to regional economic growth.
This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach with secondary data obtained from BPS, Bappeda, and the Jombang District Health Office. The analytical method used is
multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 26. The results show that the health sector DAK, both physical and non-physical, simultaneously influences economic growth in Jombang Regency. However, partially, the physical and non-physical DAK variables do not show a statistically significant effect on economic growth. The simultaneous contribution of the health sector DAK to economic growth is 45.3%, while the remaining 54.7% is influenced by other variables not included in this study. These findings suggest that although health funding plays an important role, economic growth is also influenced by various other external
factors. This research is expected to provide insights for local governments in formulating budget allocation policies and improving the quality of health services to support sustainable regional economic development.
