Abstract

Forms of student delinquency are truancy, fighting and not wearing uniforms in accordance with school regulations. Factors causing delinquency also vary, namely the distance from home to school, means of transportation and other factors. The purpose of this research is to find out how the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers deal with students' delinquency at SDN Bulurejo 2, Jombang.

This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive qualitative research type, which analyzes in depth and is not based on numbers. With data collection techniques through 3 stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and draw conclusions.

From the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers in overcoming student delinquency at Bulurejo 2 Public Elementary School in Jombang are carried out by collaborating with parents of students, providing advice, guidance, motivating students, admonishing students who commit violations at school, and approach students who commit violations. Obstacles experienced by Islamic religious education teachers in overcoming student delinquency at SDN Bulurejo 2 in Jombang include: lack of cooperation between teachers and parents of students, limited time in providing guidance to students, students not being open with teachers, and promiscuity students outside of school hours.
