The Influence of Financial Performance And Company Size on Company Value in LQ45 Companies Listed on The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) For The 2021-2023 Period

This research aims to examine the effect of financial performance as measured using
profitability, liquidity and company size ratios on company value using financial ratios. The
population used in this research was 135 companies included in the LQ45 index in the 2021
2023 period. The sampling technique used in this research used a purposive sampling method
and a sample of 58 companies was obtained. The analytical method used is multiple linear
regression analysis. The results of this research show that profitability has a positive effect on
company value, the higher the profits generated by the company, the greater the opportunity to
attract investors to increase their capital. Liquidity has a positive effect, if the company is able
to pay its obligations, it will increase the value of the company. Company size has a negative
effect, small companies tend to have better control over market conditions and become a
negative signal for investors.
