Good Madrasah management requires competent and effective managerial competence of the Madrasah head. On that basis, this research focused on the implementation of managerial competence of Madrasah heads in an effort to increase teacher professionalism. The focus of this research was then developed: (1) How is the implementation of managerial competence of madrasah heads in an effort to increase teacher professionalism carried out by the Head of MA Darul Muawanah Mojoagung Jombang (2 ) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for implementing the managerial competence of madrasah principals in an effort to increase teacher professionalism
This research uses a qualitative approach and uses data collection techniques including: (1) in-depth interviews, (2) observation participation, and (3) documentation. Informants were selected using a purposive sampling technique combined with snowball sampling.
The findings in this research are increasing teacher professionalism. Efforts to implement the managerial competence of Madrasah Heads to increase teacher professionalism carried out by the head of MA Darul Muawanah Mojoagung Jombang are: 1) Planning carried out by the head of MA Darul Muawanah Mojoagung Jombang (2) Development carried out by the head of MA Darul Muawanah Mojoagung Jombang (3) Evaluation which was carried out by the head of MA Darul Muawanah Mojoagung Jombang.
