This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of food management
policies implemented by the Ngampel village government in realizing food
security in the village. Wise food management can help the government to
overcome the poverty that occurs in Ngampel Village, Ngusikan sub-district,
Jombang Regency. This research uses a qualitative method which is based on
postpositivist philosophy, used to examine the condition of natural objects. In
this research, informants consisted of three main groups, namely Village
Heads, Empowerment Facilitators, and the Community. From this research it
can be concluded that BPNT in Ngampel Village shows several aspects of
significant effectiveness, namely the Non-Cash Food Assistance Program
(BPNT) in Ngampel Village has succeeded in reducing poverty levels by
providing access to more affordable and nutritious food for people in need,
through empowerment assistance. , The Non-Cash Food Assistance Program
(BPNT) in Ngampel Village does not only focus on providing food assistance,
but also aims to increase community capacity in managing the resources and
opportunities provided to achieve long-term sustainability. The generally
positive community response to the Non-Cash Food Assistance Program
(BPNT) in Ngampel Village is a strong indication that this program provides
real benefits in significantly improving their quality of life. The results of this
test show that BPNT assistance can help the effectiveness of food security and
reduce poverty that occurs in Ngampel Village, Ngusikan District, Jombang
Regency.
