ABSTRACT
Information and communication technology continues to change to support human
activities, including online business through the growth of the internet, providing
great opportunities for traders to develop their business by reaching more customers
without having to meet in person. The research method for the Web-Based Sales
System in Berkah Mebel Plandaan Jombang has 4 stages, namely the preliminary
research stage, analysis stage, application design stage, and research stage. System
testing is carried out by examining the system path from initial input to final output.
System and program testing uses the black box method. Tests on the item and
transaction data pages show that the system is able to handle add, change, search
and delete data operations well. Each action taken by the user produces an
appropriate response, such as the appearance of a validation message when the
required data is incomplete or confirmation when the data has been successfully
saved or deleted. . The system's ability to validate user input and provide clear
feedback improves the reliability and user experience of the application. The system
successfully ensures that only authorized users can access the application through
a reliable login mechanism. The application is able to handle various operations
such as add, change, search and delete data precisely, providing clear feedback to
the user. Stock sales and purchase transactions can be carried out efficiently, with
a system that accurately updates data and provides necessary confirmations. The
income report print feature functions well, supporting documentation and financial
reporting needs efficiently.
