Abstract
ABSTRACT
This research focuses on the development and implementation of an Android-based online teacher attendance system using the K-Means method at Al Hikmah Sumobito Middle School, Jombang. This system was created to meet the needs of educators and employees to manage journals and attendance data more efficiently. This study involved two groups: one experimental group that used a teacher attendance system, and the other was a control group that continued to use the conventional attendance method. The K-Means method applied in this system allows automatic calculation of the percentage of teacher absentee discipline based on known patterns. Test results show that this attendance system is not only able to process journals and attendance data effectively, but can also provide information to teachers and employees about how to support daily education. As a result, this system is expected to increase efficiency and accuracy in managing attendance data in the school environment.
