THE EFFECT OF THE TAHFIDZ PROGRAM ON GRADE 5 STUDENTS' LEARNING INTEREST IN THE QURAN AND HADITH SUBJECT AT MIN 1 JOMBANG

Abstract

The topic of this research is to discuss the influence of the tahfid program on the interest in learning the Qur'an and Hadith of students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Jombang. This study aims to determine how much influence the tahfid program has on the interest in learning the Qur'an and Hadith of class 5 at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Jombang.
This research is a quantitative study with a correlative approach. The population of this study was all students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Jombang Class 5 as many as 223 students, from which a sample of 50 students was taken. The data collection method is by observation method, questionnaire method, and documentary method. While the data analysis uses statistical methods with the product moment correlation formula.
The results of this study indicate that based on the product moment correlation analysis, the tahfid program has a correlation level with the interest in learning the Qur'an and Hadith with a correlation index (rxy) = 0.721 and the results can be interpreted at a significant level of 5% = 0.2787 and while at a level of 1% = 0.3610. So it can be seen that rxy is greater than the significant level, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This means that there is a positive influence of the tahfid program on the interest in learning the Qur'an and Hadith of grade 5 students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Jombang, with a strong or high influence.
