Abstract
Ghasab behavior is the act of taking/using someone else's property without the knowledge of the owner of the property. For Islamic students, ghasab is one of the efforts made to fulfill their passion for fashion style. This research aims to determine female students' knowledge about ghasab behavior, to find out what things influence the persistence of ghasab behavior, and to find out how the monitoring system is implemented in handling ghasab behavior at the Roudlotun Nasyi'in Mojokerto Islamic Boarding School. This research uses Michel Foucault's theory of power, knowledge and discipline. This research uses qualitative methods with a critical paradigm approach. Data collection was carried out using interviews, observations and documents, while determining informants was carried out using the snowball technique. Meanwhile, data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the research found: (1) Ghasab behavior for students is the act of taking property rights from other students without the knowledge of the owner of the goods. (2) The power of santri in perpetuating ghasab is as follows: Ghasab to fulfill the passionate desires of the santri's fashion style, carrying out ghasab for the personal needs of female santri, as an act of retaliation for being a victim of ghasab, due to the interaction patterns of santri being too close, and ghasab behavior as a result of their existence. senior dominance. (3) The system of supervision and regulations in dealing with ghasab behavior is as follows: limiting the number and type of clothing brought to the boarding school, naming all items brought by students at the boarding school, applying points for each violation and giving warning letters to students who have points. violation exceeds the limit.
