The Relationship Between Religiosity and Anxiety About the Future in Orphanage Adolescents

This research aims to determine The Relationship Between Religiosity and Anxiety About the Future in Orphanage Youth. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a negative relationship between religiosity and anxiety about the future in orphanage youth. The population of this study were teenagers living in orphanages. The sample used was 71 teenagers from the Al-Hidayah Kedungbetik Kesamben Jombang Orphanage. The data analysis technique uses Purposive Sampling technique. Data collection tools Religiosity Scale and Anxiety Scale Facing the Future. Hypothesis testing was carried out using statistical analysis of Carl Pearson's Product Moment correlation. The results of the analysis obtained r xy= -0.485 and sig 0.000 (p<0.05). This shows that there is a significant negative correlation between religiosity and anxiety about facing the future. The higher the religiosity, the lower the anxiety about facing the future, conversely, the lower the religiosity, the higher the anxiety about facing the future. Thus the hypothesis is accepted.
