Abstract

Flooding is a condition in which water is not accommodated in the drain channel (river trough) or the flow of water is obstructed in the discharge channel, so that it overflows to inundate the area (flood plain).
There are many areas that have problems with their settlements and drainage systems, including Pagerwojo Village, Perak District, Jombang Regency. one of the densely populated areas is the Pagerwojo Village area RT.001/RW.001, this area is located at the easternmost of Pagerwojo Village. This densely populated area received less supervision during the construction of housing, facilities and infrastructure. So that many problems arise during the rainy season such as floods and puddles that are not channeled properly. The height of the existing flood reaches 20-40 cm depending on the intensity of the existing rain. The available channels do not have the appropriate capacity for dirty water waste which is mostly from household waste, so when it rains the area is inundated with dirty water and has a great risk of flooding.
From the studies and calculations that have been carried out, the solution to this problem is the need for a new drainage channel to cope with flooding in the village. The results obtained are as follows: Existing discharge = 0.61 m3/sec, planned discharge = 5.23 m3/second and the Budget Plan for drainage of Pagerwojo Village, Perak District, Jombang Regency is Rp. 2.811.910.000,00
