Abstract
In this study, a traffic light planning study was selected at the intersection of Jalan Prof. Moh. Yamin Kab. Jombang is a collector's road which is one of the alternative roads that can connect from the Jombang national road – the district boundary. Lamongan. The formulation of the problem to be achieved: (1) What is the condition of the road geometry at the intersection. (2) What is the volume of vehicle traffic that passes through each arm of the intersection? (3) What is the form of setting up the Traffic Signaling Device (APILL) at the intersection. The results of the analysis obtained: (1) The geometric conditions of the intersection are for the North arm, the width of the road is 6 m, the number of lanes is 2, the width per lane is 3 m, the East arm is the width of the road is 7 m. lane 2 width per lane 3 m, West arm road width 4 m total lane 2 width per lane 2 m. (2) The total volume of vehicular traffic passing through each arm of the intersection, North Arm 449 cur/hour East arm 333 cur/hour South arm 434 cur/hour West arm 274 cur/hour. (3) The form of regulation of the Traffic Signaling Device (APILL) in accordance with the traffic flow conditions at the intersection is to use 2 phases.
