Abstract

DC electric motor (direct current) is one of the DC motors. A direct current machine can be a DC generator or a DC motor. DC generator is a device that converts mechanical energy into DC electrical energy. DC motor is a device that converts DC electrical energy into rotational mechanical energy. A DC motor can function as a generator or vice versa a DC generator can function as a DC motor. It is necessary to regulate the motor speed with several controller methods, in order to obtain the best method for the DC motor model. The modeling of the DC motor control system must be adapted to the characteristics of the DC motor and the setting model. Therefore, in this research task, we will design a DC motor control model using PID control to control the speed of a DC motor. Then will test the two controls on a DC motor model with changes in speed and changes in load torque. The performance results from the DC Series control model using PID with changes in speed and changes in load torque are found to have better steady state error, settling time and overshoot. With the above background, the writer is compelled to do research with the title; Hybrid Design Using PID (Proportional Integral Derivative)-PSO(Particle Swarm Optimization) - ANFIS Controller For Speed Regulation In DC Motors
